How to Delete Your Data
1 Local Data (Reminders, Tasks, Images, Settings)
By default, all your personal data is stored only on your device.
- Uninstall the app to delete everything, OR
- Use Settings > Delete All Data (if available)
2 Realtime Sync Data (Pro Users)
If you enabled Realtime Sync, your email, name, and reminder content are stored on our servers. To delete this data:
- Disable Realtime Sync: Go to Settings > Realtime Sync > disable the feature
- Request Account Deletion: Email info@flutteringreminders.app to request complete deletion of your Realtime Sync data
Note: Disabling Realtime Sync stops future syncing but does not automatically delete data already stored. Contact us to request full deletion.
3 Family Sharing Data (Pro Users)
If you used Family Sharing, your family group data is stored via Supabase:
- Leave Family Groups: Go to Settings > Family > leave or delete your groups
- Request Deletion: Email info@flutteringreminders.app to request deletion of family sharing data
4 Analytics Data
We collect two types of analytics:
- Device-linked analytics (with consent): To stop collection, go to Settings > Privacy > disable analytics. To request deletion, email us.
- Anonymous analytics (always collected): This data has no device identifier and cannot be linked to you. It cannot be deleted as we have no way to identify which data is "yours".
All analytics data is automatically deleted after 12 months.
5 Cloud Backups (Pro Users)
- Google Drive: Delete directly in Google Drive
- iCloud: Delete in iOS Settings > iCloud > Manage Storage
6 Subscription Data
Managed by Apple/Google and RevenueCat. Contact their support directly.
